Igor Litvinov - January 8th!

There will be a group class at 8:30 PM on January 8th at Atlanta Ballroom Dance Centre, and we will be covering Waltz. This class is open to all levels, and will be a great opportunity to get a better understanding of the Waltz from one of the best. It's really great to get exposure to someone like Igor, because you can get a good visual of the way he dances, as well as a great explanation of the fundamentals that will help you progress faster in your dancing. We are asking for RSVP to the group class if at all possible, as this class may be sold out. You may call us at 678-371-4441 to reserve your spot. The cost of the class is only $12.

Igor with his partner Julia were the United States Showdance Champions at the Ohio Star Ball in 2006, and are currently 4th in the United States in International Standard, which includes the dances of Waltz, Tango, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot, and Quickstep. They have also placed first at dozens of competitions and are in the top 20 in the World.

This class will also be kicking off the normal group Waltz class that will run through January taught by David and Shelley DuVal. We will continue with the Waltz and cover a portion of the Bronze Waltz syllabus, with goals of:

1. Understanding the fundamentals of good partnership and posture

2. Remembering the important step patterns in Waltz

3. Developing the ability to put the patterns together so that couples can move around the room easily.

Again she will be teaching a group class on Thursday night around 8 pm on March 12th. Most likely the group class will cover either Tango or Quickstep. If you are interested in private lessons with her, please contact us, as the slots will be sold out about 1 month prior to her being here.
