The SSJ train is coming! Everybody get on board!

By that I mean the Summer Swing Jam in Atlanta, Sept. 12-15. The Atlanta dance community would like to invite all of you to join us for our post-Labor Day, end-of-summer dance event, the Summer Swing Jam! Learn about and enjoy dancing Lindy Hop, Carolina Shag and West Coast Swing on two ballroom floors at Atlanta's Airport Westin Hotel! It'll be four days of great dance workshops, competitions, games, pool lounging, Waffle House runs and more social dancing than you can imagine!

The Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel
4736 Best Road, Atlanta, GA 30337
(Near the intersection of Interstates 85 and 285, and of course, Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the Airport.)

Prices:
Weekend Pass -- $95.00, does not include workshops
All Access "Gold" Pass -- $170.00, includes all workshops
Individual Workshops -- $10.00 for one-hour classes, $15.00 for 90-minute classes

Who Else is Coming:
At this time, we hear that dancers from south Florida, the Carolinas, Tennessee, D.C., NYC, Philly, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Texas, California and, of course, Atlanta and its thousands of suburbs, are making plans to join us! We want you to come too!

Dance Floor: Two ballroom floors (one for Lindy, one for WCS / Carolina Shag) provided by Master Dance Floor (the same folks who provide the GNDC floors)

Other Activities: Pool Lounging, Basketball (the hotel has an indoor court), Shopping and Sightseeing Excursions and, of course, the all-important Waffle House / Krispy Kreme tour!

Hosting: Currently, no formal plans are in the works for exchange-style hosting, but it's being discussed. Keep posted.
