We are looking for career driven dancers with PASSION for dance. Dancers who are willing to take their dancing to a limit they may have never thought they could reach. The auditions for FE Dance and Performance Group for the 2006 Season will be broken into 2 audition sets. The first set of auditions will be held in mid to late October in search of 12 to 15 male and female dancers who show great diverse dance styles. FE stands for Full Expression so every member of the company must be able to perform 3 different dance styles and techniques or more to qualify. The dancers will come in on the first audition and dance their 3 different styles and techniques. We will only give verbal choreography if it is necessary to see how strong the technique of a dancer is in the following forms: ballet, modern, and cirque. The other dance forms such as hip-hop, tap, etc. will be free flow and there will be no need to give choreography. Call backs will be held the same day. The call backs will only be an interview. Dancers will not dance again. Phone calls will be made in early November to those who have been chosen to perform in the Final Audition. The Final Audition will be an open venue stage performance. Before the Final Audition the dancers chosen for this performance will attend free company dance classes and rehearse with the regular company members for this show. The rehearsal and class attendance as well as the Final Audition will determine who will stay and who will go.

Dancers who make the company after the final audition will get signed to an FE Dance and Performance Group performance contract just for the year of 2006. The contract comes with FE Dance and Performance Group provisions: free dance shoes, free dance classes, costumes for shows, discounts on dancewear when ordered through the company, free show tickets for family and friends, paid travel, exposure to the dance world and media, and best of all dancers will get paid to do what they love to do for rehearsals and performances. Pay is competitive based according to experience, ability, responsibility, and most of all dedication.
