Dancers Needed-Open Auditions!

Dancers of all levels needed (beginning thru advanced) for a production piece set to music from The Matrix. The piece will be performed on May 17th and 18th, 2008. Dancers must have some experience in either ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical, or hip-hop. Many styles will be incorporated into the piece.

Auditions- Saturday, January 12th 1:30pm

Please arrive early and warm up before the audition
Any color leotard and tights, no skirts/pants/shorts/shirts

Rehearsals will be held each Saturday following, between 1 and 4pm. (There will be no rehearsal March 29th or April 12th)
Rehearsals will be approximately 2 hours long.

Rehearsal fee - $45.00 (includes all rehearsal time) Costume fee - TBD (approx. $15-$20) Non-A Step Ahead students are required to pay a $40.00 insurance fee.

A Step Ahead students - approx. $60-$65
Non students - approx. $100

Intermediate & Advanced dancers may apply to have the $45.00 rehearsal fee waived.

Attendance of the majority of rehearsals is required. A few absences will be allowed with prior approval of the choreographer. A maximum of 3 absences will be permitted.
