Tall Male Dance Needed - Microsoft Screensaver - Videoshoot

Postby holtster » Fri Apr 15, 2005 7:37 pm

Hi there!

I'm looking for a tall, professional, male dancer.

My company, Lyda Interactive, has been hired to shoot a short video for a new Microsoft screensaver. The screensaver will be available for download, online.

Please see the below link for a short video of yours truly doing rudimentary renditions of the dances. Of course, the chosen candidate would have to be a better dancer than I am.

- Four to five dances will need to be performed:

a. Short tap dance,
b. Break dance (roboto & moonwalk),
c. Bulgarian gypsy dance,
d. The Macarena.

NOTE: The character is supposed to be lighthearted, almost making fun of himself. But the dances should be pretty tight.

The character's face will not be seen! The character is wearing a dinosaur helmet during the shoot. Important is the character's physique: The ideal physique qould be tall and physically fit. This is ideal, and if a shorter dancer is interested, they should show up! The more the merrier.

- Other Details:

- The client (Microsoft) has requested that auditions be performed.

- Auditions will be ongoing throughout next week (Apr 18 - Apr. 21) at my office in downtown Atlanta. My schedule is flexible.

- If the dancer has a very nice suit, we would be saved from needing to rent one. However, renting a suit remains an option for the final shoot. But the auditions will be informal and the dancer(s) can wear whatever clothes they see fit.

- If you feel that you are right for this part, I'd love to hear from you.

- Lastly, this is a paid gig. The chosen dancer will receive $700.

If you know of anyone who might be interested, please have them email me at [email protected].

Thank you for your time.
