Theatrical Essentia is also known as Middle Eastern Modern Dance. However, this style of dance also contains elements of Bellydance, Jazz, Ballet and Theatrical Dance. It is widely popular in the Middle East and Europe and is just now being introduced in the USA and in Atlanta in particular by Christine Zaarour. Theatrical Essentia is visually exciting by design, and it's music is very contemporary, but with a Middle Eastern beat. VERY COOL. We suggest you take our Bellydance 101 class (right before) at 5:30pm to brush up (or learn) basic bellydance moves. This will come in handy as you will learn to apply these moves to your technical training. Taught by Christine Zaarour.
